WHO ARE WE?
DiOGi CARES is a nonprofit animal rescue and advocacy organization based in Atlanta, GA. DiOGi CARES provides a comprehensive program for the fostering and adoption of rescued, stray cats and dogs for which original owners are not located. DiOGi CARES also champions the cause of responsible pet ownership by holding pet health fairs and community dog training classes free of charge. Our organization also spearheads and sponsors efforts to promote breed equality through breed specific awareness and education.
DiOGi CARES stands for:
C – Compassion
A – Advocacy
R – Responsible Pet Ownership
E – Education
S – Saving the stray dogs and cats of Atlanta
Our mission is to reduce and eventually eliminate the number of cats and dogs being surrendered and killed at the local Animal Control locations by promoting responsible pet ownership,
offering free spay/neuter and vaccination clinics, holding free community dog training classes in the underserved areas of Atlanta and provide assistance to financially challenged pet owners.

BUDDY *Courtesy Post
Buddy was found on August 10,2013. He'd been walking the streets for so long that the pads on his feet were worn off. Buddy has been waiting for his forever home for two years.
This handsome young three year-old likes to play ball, go for rides in the car, snuggle, gets Kong treats, belly rubs, and is eager to please. He's completely vetted, neutered, vaccinated and is heart worm negative. Buddy needs to be an only pet. He's been waiting for a home for two years because he comes from Georgia, one of the highest "kill" states in the nation. Luckily, he is loved by his rescuer who has paid for him to be boarded.
